Do you really think that a direct download would help? What would then happen? If 10000users was downloading from here the server would crash in a moment (or would be much more slow)! There were times where mrtwig was down 'cause too many of us was visiting even the site! And downloading eats lots o more bandwith...
Anyway. Bittorrent is at least working. (And I was downloading over 100k so it wasnt very slow at all)
